Hello everyone,
I just wanted to pass along that I've had great luck w/ ddmtuning.com for HID replacement bulbs in the past. I'm also going to order some LED's for my driving lights pretty soon. I just wanted to post this for people looking for bulbs in the future.

Used to use em years ago and they were terrible...so I use TheRetrofitSource.com now. Maybe DDM fixed their customer service issues of 6-7 years ago.

Yikes! I didn't have to deal w/ customer service, i ordered bulbs and they were as advertised and worked well. I guess proceed w/ caution... didn't know about the CS issues.

I have used and recommended DDM many times over the years. Best prices by far for budget replacement HIDs. I have yet to have any issues with the bulbs I got from them and therefore don't have experience with their customer service. I don't however have any of their product in my M56.

On the subject of LEDs and bulb changing my PSA Is:

This car uses the BCM as a fuse. It's expensive to replace so pull the negative cable before changing bulbs.

Yeah their issues years ago were shipping/CS related...maybe they're good now if you too are recommending them.

Lol. This should be a sticky for every time you work on your car. Even if you're replacing the wiper blades....

On the subject, I ordered some H8 LED bulbs last night and the wiring harness to keep the dash lights from coming on (CANBUS)... I'll let everyone know how it turns out. And yes, I'll disconnect the negative battery cable :D

I don't think you'll need the CANBUS harness. We don't have a light out warning on our dash. 90% sure on this.

Correct. Not needed for the Y51 triplets.

Shiza! Already ordered, I guess we'll see about their customer service when I send it back :)

Okay, just a quick update, i ordered my H8 bulbs around Jan 10. they were picked up in china on Jan 13 and i still don't have them and have no update that they've even made it to the states. I know that some of this issue isn't within DDM's control but to wait 2 weeks for a couple of bulbs is a little crazy. I don't remember this issue w/ other DDM orders but this experience hasn't been a great one, especially w/ all the bulbs you can grab off of amazon for just a little more $$$.
