If for some reason I get a check engine light, will that be able to pull codes and display on my phone? I would assume the code would then be translated to language after it gets the information it needs over the air.

Also, can I just keep that connected all the time?

Yes and Yes

it will clear your CEL and provide a variety of sensors info on your phone. Go look on the play store for different plugins that you can use.

:rotfl I'll bet your a closet iphone lover with the new iOS7 theme on your android.

I did see a few others like your which are iOS compatible so you're right why spend so much more for the same stuff?! Although I'm wondering if the lower profile units are just as good. I would think these would perhaps get in the way?

i would be lying if i say i don't use IOS but be absolute clear that i don't pay for it. if it wasn't work who's in love with APPLE, i wouldn't even touch it. HOw do you like the new IOS 7?

anyway - all of these ELM OBD-II Bluetooth have the same functionality, and they do work. yes sometime you will get a dud like with everything from CHINA but again, you're buying on Amazon and the product is less than the cost of a lunch. :)

iOS7 is a nice change. I appreciate the see-through look and feel of the folders. I also love the fact that I can now keep adding apps to folders and the folders become pages. The Control center is a nice touch although clearly it's a bite from Android haha. So far it's been stable with all my apps. The multitasking feature is nicer as well. All I can say is Android better come out with a nice new UI change. My wife has an S3 and immediately grabbed my phone and said "Wow it's so beautiful!" I haven't been able to get it away from her for long since.

Thanks for the tip and sorry for the derailment.

Was going to purchase a unit, until I saw they were charging 70$ for shipping to Canada.

I have one and used it on several cars. Definitely worth the money
