PS3 call of duty 4 team challenge

Since the Xbox guys got there ladder game, I am setting up a PS3 team challenge. The goal is to have a tourny between teams no more then 3, I liked to have teams of 2, but if it makes it even, we'll have teams of 3. There will be two challenges, a Team deathmatch and a Search and Destory challenge. I want everyone who is up for the challenge to check in, and I want to get this sorted out in a timely fashion, this will be hard to cordinate due to the time zones and the schedules of everyone, but I think we can prevail, so everyone who wants in, check in, after the check in, we will get the details in order regarding scoring and game times

well I think if we do it in a private match, its easier to get everyone together. also, makes sure you guys have NAT type 2 or 1, not type 3. That also prevents people from connecting. Search online on how to get nat type 2 or 1

looks like my playtime schedules are gonna be killed for a while just got a new job that i have to be up for at 6 monday through friday, and some weekends. and when it starts getting hotter (lol, i live in texas, its already as hot as ya'lls summers here ) i have to get up earlier. plus i'll be moving soon, so game times gonna be few and far between :/

ok it will be set up like this

we will have teams of 2 or 3 ppl

there will be 5 matches to each game:

deathmatchsabotageheadquartessearch & destory

The 4 teams, if we have that many, and if not, the 2 teams with the highest average amount of wins, will advance into a face off between the eachother. I'll have more details to the faceoff when it comes. Right now I am concerned with getting teams set up. I want everyone who will be in it to be checked in by tomorrow night. then we will pick teams, and we are going to have everyone put their schedule down, so we can have games going, its ok if we have a a face off between teams on different nights, I just want it to work out. so i'll collect all the standings at the end of the week if need be, I dunno if this is confusing or not

basically, spread the word, lets get teams together, make sure everyone has Nat type 1 or 2, so we can connect easier. And lets get our schedules down too, this is going to be hard with the time zones, cause 3 am for us eastern guys is 12am to you western guys, so ya, spread the word, lets get teams together

also, may I suggest that we also put up our rankings/levels so as to make the teams as fair/even as possible.

I'm going to participate in the 360 ladder, but I dont think that posting levels and prestiges would do much. I'm sure you guys have also run into level 55 golden cross guys who suck ***. All prestige means is that you have spent a lot of time playing the game. You can just get there faster if you are good.

I'm going to participate in the 360 ladder, but I dont think that posting levels and prestiges would do much. I'm sure you guys have also run into level 55 golden cross guys who suck ***. All prestige means is that you have spent a lot of time playing the game. You can just get there faster if you are good.

haha yeah, that's true. maybe we can post our kill:death ratios? of course if you're a sniper, you're probably gonna have a very steep ratio in favor of your kills.. but I dunno, just a suggestion.

let's get Morph in on this too. that man is the pwnz0rz of COD4.

i have recently started playing hardcore deathmatch. im hooked now, no hud, limited radar, bullet damage being realistic, awesome.

i suggest everyone try it.

I tried it, it's OK IMO. Kinda slow and hard on your kill/death ratio. And not knowing how many bullets you have is annoying =/

ah, but thats the challenge of it redtop playing hardcore is like search and destroy, just dont walk out in open areas and you can rape. i find it easier to score higher in hardcore than regular team death match. hardcore search and destroy tho is just a loss, because i suck *** at the regular s&d anyways

fridays at 10-11 sound doable, or atleast more so than i thought. that is if i can stay awake long enough. its only 1030 now and i feel like i'm going to die... and it was only my first day haha

ok so due to schedule conflicts, and time zone differences, we are going to have to do this one at a time, I'm still going to wait alittle longer to get more people together, however I think we are going to set it up as one game at a time, so for example it would be like, me and s13jus10 vs. morph and jdshift - 4/23/08 11:00pm EST/ 7pm PST, this is just an example, but I think we will do it like that, and once the game is over, we will record the results here and schedule the next teams game. Now we can also do 1 vs 1 cage match if we dont have that great of a turn out and if that makes it easier, but I think we'll have enough people to do teams.
