Yes they are. I had a lot of hesitation going to a 40 aspect tire on an 18" wheel, but now the only thing I notice is a slightly harsher impact on serious road irregualrities. These tires are soo quiet its spooky.
I took it out on some local twisties (its in the 40s) and the PS2s are like glue.
