Suggestions on ps2 install in car.

Ok i plan t o get etheir the pioneer N4 dvd/screen/nav or 5900 dvd/screen and also add a ps2 to it to.

Ok i was thinking since i have a capacitor in my trunk with the subs and amp, etheir get a power inverter or ps2 car adaptor, one of those dc outlet extention cables, splice it, putting the positive to the capacitor positive, and ground to ground, think it will work?

and when i turn the car back on will the ps2 slim turn on to or do i have to go the trunk every time to press the button on?

I was under the impression that the ps2 slim was powered off 12v and that the converted just took it from wall voltage to that. If that the case all you need to do is cut out the adapter and wire it straight to a switched power source. Then all you have to do is turn on the ps2. Just be very careful with where you run your video cable, it's very susceptible to signal noise.
