PS pump question

Is it possible to install the back of the pump backwards? I removed the vanes from the back, also removed the cylinder and spring and plugged the hole to the hicas. The issue is, when I pour PS fluid in the reservoir, it pours right out the back. It's coming out of one of the non-bolt holes in the rear. Hoping to not have to I'll it out again, already have coolant in the radiator :frown:

Not sure man but just a heads up - do NOT use regular PS fluid; instead, our cars need auto trans fluid. Not sure exactly why TBH (higher heat tolerance maybe?) but it'll cause problems with PS fluid.

Thanks dude. And I answered my own question today when I pulled the PS pump out.... Yes, yes you can put the back on backwards. Ha!
