well,today, i was tearing apart on my ps pump b/c it was busted..and i came across this one huge nut that i could NOT fit any of my sockets/wrenches on..pictured :
i tried a 22mm wrench, its not big enough..anyone have a suggestion?i heard a vise grip.. but i didnt want to take the chance of messing up the nut.

hmm ... i've taken quite a few of these off recently ... seemed like a 24 or somethin tho ... i know for a fact I used a MM set of sockets ... maybe i had one just barely to big and it might have been strippin it tho? ... anyways good luck, i busted the **** outta my arm/hand unexpectly cause it will all of a sudden give and here goes your arm into the p/s resevoir or something sharp and painful

Yeah, its a 24mm.but 15/16" is close enough for government work.
