Proximity Sensors EX35 2011

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I am missing the proximity sensor on the front bumper passenger side. Very weird. This happened on a road trip with brief stops only. Noticed it when the car was placed in reverse and the dash display was constant red with an alarm.

Has anyone replaced a sensor or had a dealer replace one?

If you still have a bumper to bumper warrany , it is still covers it.

I had mine replaced (front passenger side sensor) recently and good thing I bought an extended warranty from the Infiniti lady in New Jersey. ( I have $50 deductible). One sensor cost $150 since it is under warranty, I did not pay the labor too.

Mine popped out wheni was merging in the highway and the front car I was following ran over a piece of tire tread and there was no way I could avoid it. The piece of tire tread hit my lower passenger side bumper and I ran it over on my right side. When I exited the highway my sensor went off even if the car in front of me is about 20 feet away. :ohno: I did not tell this to my dealer since there were no scrapes made. I just told them it just popped out..
