Hello!

I'm a proud owner of a new G35 journey (tech, nav, premium) sedan, black on black.

I love this car :-)

Two questions :

1) The bottom 1/8 of the LCD shows the car bumper when I put it on reverse (backup camera). Is the bumper supposed to be visible?

2) I'm migrating from a Jetta, and the Jetta's windshiled washer pressure was pretty good - almost so that water would jump up to the rear of the car. I noticed that in the g35, the pressure isn't that high and that the water reaches only upto slightly below the windshield. Is this normal?

Thank you!

Yes. I think it is better that way, as long as it is not mis-aimed to the point where you it is pointing down too much. This gives you some reference as to what you are seeing and maximises (in my opinion) the view.

When you are at speed, where does it contact? If in the middle of the windshield (vertically), then I'd say it is set about right. If not, you can move the jets with a pin (carefully! You do not not to accidentally enlarge the hole) to get it to where you want it go.

Thanks for your reply. By 'when you are at speed' did you mean when I'm driving? I tested it while driving and while stopped, and it aims very slightly below the middle [vertically]. The pressure seems lower than I'm used to in the Jetta so the water only reaches to the middle of the windshield. The wipers come on and pick up the fluid so the windshield eventually gets cleaned. I was wondering if this is by design or if I have a problem..

That's where it suppose to hit the windshild. It works awesome. I never had a problem with it. Although it feels like there is no pressure or something. But works.

You can try moving the jets a bit upwards and see if this helps put it where you want it. I try to shoot for about halfway up the windshield on my car - when I am at highway speeds.
