Well, I'm back. After getting rid of my 350z almost 10 years ago to start a family, I recently purchase 300zx love it just as much as my 350. I got it for cheap (1/4 of the KBB price) because my friend wanted to get rid of it ASAP, it was the right time so I went forward. After owning it for a month all I had time to do was JWT pop charger, oil change, and I have a few other things pending at the moment. Unfortunately I fish tailed the other week and ran over a center divider, but nothing happened that I know of. The alignment is a little off, and I'm not too concerned. After the end of my shift I drove it home and half way there my CEL came on. I checked it out and it is a code 51, I did all my research, and I'm ready to start troubleshooting this weekend. Once I get that corrected I will move forward with replacing the speakers and installing a sub, doing some touch up paint, removing old tint, etc. I get a lot of comments about my 300 just like I did when I got my 350, but the best thing about my 300 is that 90s smell. its awesome! I don't think I will do anything performance wise because its NA except for ECU because I live in CA. But I' m stoked. I understand this engine can be a pain to work on, but this is my weekend car and I'm going to take auto tech classes for the next few semesters while slowly collecting my tools. So if it is not running for days/weeks/months that fine with me. I have 3 other Nissans to bounce in between.

Congrats and enjoy! Sorry to hear about the mishap. I too had a brand new 2003 and 2006 350z and then went Euro. 300zx always had a soft spot for me (seeing them as a kid) so ended up adding one.
Welcome.
