Welcome!

Nice find. Make sure all the recalls are up to date and remove that pin stripe.

Thanks guys. And yea, I haven't checked the recalls, but warned the sales girl that I'll be back if any of them aren't done yet. Do I have to Carfax it? Or is there somewhere I can plug in my VIN and it will tell me?

Call a Nissan dealer and they'll run your VIN.

Note that the butterfly valve screw issue isn't something they typically will mention, so if you have any recalls outstanding, I'd bring up that you want your butterfly screws loctited while you're there if that hasn't been done.

Easy enough. Thanks for the heads up on the butterfly valves, I realized that it wasn't a recall last night when looking on some of the automotive sites, even though, if its just a matter of adding loctite, the should add it to the recall list. Either way, I loved the damn car too much to leave it on the lot, even after reading all about its problems, just a matter of getting things taken care of.

I have a blue 5-spd model of the same year. It's been a good little car so far.

Hows the BRM Cat-back? Buddy of mine got the BRM for his S14 and I loved it on his car.

Well, the car got pushed back until tonight, but it is worth every minute and every penny. Got the full extended warranty to cover any mishaps. Can tell the fuel pump recall hasn't been done because it didn't want to start after a 25 mile trip, turned the key to on, let it sit for a couple minutes and it fired right up. But so far, car is awesome.
