And yes, we get raped up here in Canada for price on new cars. It really, really sucks.
Edit!
Edmontonian! Awesome.
Oil country ftw!!(although lets not talk about the hockey team atm... )
we do get it up the *** here for sure on cars, but I guess that is life. and at least in Alberta there is only one tax I vowed to never ever import again, so I will take the hit - better for my sanity in the long run.

2.5 superblacks FTW!
woohoo! great deal!Black is HOTwanted blue... but didnt want to have to get the premium (well, not that I didnt want, more that the price would bump a lot, and options I dont really need) and I would have had to wait for it to be ordered from factory. Because it was on the lot I managed to get a bit of a deal, plus they absorbed some cost and gave me more for my trade than they should have (I know they just take that from the markup on the price) - got an extra 2k for the trade than anyone else would, plus slightly below msrp in the end as well. yay!In the end, having gone and signed all the paperwork and saw it sitting in the sun, I am VERY glad I went with the black!!
They are putting on the back 3 tint for me (its illegal here for front tint... lame, but thats ok) and I am picking it up tomorrow night!
I have never own a car with only 11km's on it (unless there are a lot of 0's attached to that)
Traded in my 02 Jetta - sad to say goodbye, but if I had to foot another $2000 repair bill I was going to **** a chicken. (also, we had to get a mechanic to turn off the check engine light that is on HAHA and the timing belt was never replaced.... I feel like a bit of a dirtbag seeing that they are getting a car that is gonna crap out again pretty soon)
