@96 a couple points1) no hes not, but the party that saw him as a fit candidate to nominate and then renominate is. Its still about Bush's judgment as long as the republican party supports him

2)The sitting president is a member of your party and you have him speak at your convention before the networks start broadcasting live...wow your so embarrassed by your last candidate your trying to hide him why should we expect any better this time?

3)Bush is still in charge, hes a very relevant politician in this country. This isn't the election forum its the political forum. I'm sorry you don't like him/are embarrassed, maybe the people who voted for him should all sign a really big apology card to everyone else in the world who didn't if that is the case.

Sorry, I don't mind at all if someone wants to bash Bush.

I'm just more interested in the NEXT President at this point. Neither McCain nor Palin nor Obama nor Biden have anything to do with Bush and Gonzales.

And since they don't, I'll leave this thread to those who like to bash Bush instead.
