It used to work well, but now it has been malfunctioning. Thanks to a volt meter built into my turbo timer, I have noticed that the gauge only reads when the voltage is around 12-13 volts. When under load, my power circuit is charged to about 14.3 typically, and as soon as the voltage gets to like 13.5+ the needle just dies and it stops reading. Whenever my alternator is failing which unfortunately happens often and my car is only generating 12 -13 volts, the gauge works perfectly. Any ideas? Should I just put a resistor between the sender and the gauge?
