So, I just got my new 2014 370z in magnetic black. I want to have a custom monitor that mirrors my Iphone installed where the center storage console is. So I bought...

Alpine TME-S370
Sabrent HDMI to Composite/S-Video Converter
Apple Lightning AV Adapter

I went to a professional car audio store to ask the price of installing this monitor and they quoted me at 300 dollars. 100 dollars for the installation and wiring. 200 dollars for the custom work to make the monitor look like it belongs in the car (ie. 3-4 coats of paint). My question is, is this a reasonable price? Shop is in Charlotte.

Sounds decent to me. There's going to be a little more than just a few coats of paint to make it look like it belongs in there.
