You can convert an auto engine to manual pretty easily. Just need to remove the auto transmission and flex plate and put on the manual transmission and clutch. There are very few differences between the auto and manual SR's. The main difference is the ECU and the TPS. The auto ECU can run the engine even when converted to manual. The TPS comes with extra wires. They dont really affect much and you can swap on a manual TPS or manual ECU if you want. You will notice that with auto ECU's on a manual transmission you could have a slightly higher idle since it was designed to give the car a little more gas to the transmission.
