Alright, so I'm stopping for the light. Then I see the light is out so it's just blinking red. I try to go over the rumble strip to get into a left turn lane when I hear a thud. I was like ohnoes! So I pull over, then the lady in the SUV I hit gets out. So I go up to the car to see the damage, and I'm really confused when I see nothing. Then I see what part of the car I hit her with and I see the right side view mirror folded in, look at the height of it and deduce I hit her tail light. So I look at her tail light and see nothing, then I put my face right up to it and see the tiniest smudge. So then a minute later a cop pulls up behind me and asks what happened, so I show him the tail light. He takes off his sunglasses, puts his nose right up to the tail light and squints real hard. He starts rubbing it to see if it's just a smudge and he's like "OK lady, so do you really want to replace that?" And the dumb, stingy lady is like "Yeah I do". Then the cop says, "it's going to be a bigger hassle to go in to the shop and repair it then just leaving it as is. But if you really want to get it replaced, you can exchange information, I can't file a report because it's less than $500." After he said all that, he just got back in his car and left.

And then some guys driving by were like, lady you might want to re-park your car or you might get hit again. lol, she left her car in the left lane, and just got out and walked to the rumble strips on the median. So I guess I was wrong, not all cops are bad.
