proportion valve

does anyone know where it is located at and where i can buy a new or do i even have it? please help

Yes you have one, No I don't know where it is, IIRC, they are usally built into the master cylinder (or very close to it), but I very well could be wrong, I deleted my FSM so I can't even look there any more. (BTW, knowing what kind of car and model year would help).

And I imagine most any Nissan dealer could get you one. If you are looking for an adjustable proportion valve, check some place like summit / Jegg's / Pegasus Auto Racing / your local race shop. I imagine any one of them could get you one.

If you have an s13, it is built into the master cylinder like cracker said:

yea sorry guys i forgot to tell you guys what kind of car i have, i have an s13 and thanks for giving me an answer. I did call the dealer and they said that s13 don't have a proportion valve so if it is built into the brake master cylinder then i will just buy a new one and finally solve this problem. Thanks a lot guys
