ALright.. here is the deal.. I have a 2003 I35 which is the same as the 2003 Maxima.. what kinda offset do I need to get on my rims to get the VIP style?

I want to get the right offset to bring the rim almost to the edge of the fender.

Help please.

Wow, not really sure about that . I would try to look for what offset you have on the stock wheels and figure the difference.

might wanna be careful using vip and maxima/i30 in the same sentence (trust me, i've been there), some people may get their panties bunched up.

anyway:

19x8.5 +17/19x10 +22 (not mine)

adjust as you see fit. i know 4th gens better than 5th, but if i had to shoot in the dark to get it to fit the way i like it (flush, no poke, no pull) i'd probably go 8.5/9.5 +20/+25.

I know this is wrong on so many levels, but I seriously thought that was a photoshop until I saw the third pic.

They make fun of it here, but there are a lot of a32 and a33 cefiros vip styled in Japan. They look pretty proper. The only thing that sucks is there's no camber adjustment in the rear. I thought about going to a lowrider shop and having them modify my rear axle to have permanent camber, but I'm not gutsy enough to do it.

the styled a32/a33 i've seen weren't from japan. most of them are from poorer countries like malaysia or thailand where they don't get the platform cars.

They had Japanese tags unless they were posing.
