What -exactly- are the proper lift points when using floor jacks and jackstands on a 240? I'm gonna have to do suspension stuff, so the suspension components cant have weight held on them...My shop manual doesnt make any sence (think it's more for the altima) and i dont have a glove box manual...i searched...but the search doesnt do much...thanksast

front is front suspension member and rear is differential for jacking points...as for the jack stands, just use the frame.

i jack with a thick piece of MDF to spread the weight, i just go along the frame as needed. If you spread the weight it wont bend anything, pretty much everywhere will bend with just a jack on a 240sx.
