OMG.. the damage implies the car hit the tree while going sideways... so, where are the skid marks??? Oh, wait, I see some marks on the road in the second picture, like 3 carlengths back... Was that car airborne when it hit the tree?

Seriously, if my wife sees this, she'll make me sell mine...

That street does not look anywhere near acceptable for doing the speeds that would have been necessary to cause that kind of crash.
