So, I've recently been having problems with my car audio in my versa. My subwoofer amp (Audioque 1200D) has randomly been going into protect mode. In order to rule out the ground, I'm looking to actually properly ground my system. Currently I am just using one of the backseat bolts to ground both my amplifiers (using a power block).

I am looking instead to drill a hole in the same area (underneath the backseat) for the ground point. Any recommendations on where to drill? I don't want to puncture anything.

I'm not sure where to drill, but if you crawl under and drill up you should be pretty safe.

BUT, I've always used seat bolts. Just make sure you strip the paint first, and then repaint after to prevent rust.
