I saw that bulletin also on the Infiniti recall website while I was checking it out after reading the M56/37 transmission/ecm reprogramming thread here. Anyone done that yet? Anything specific to expect or worry about?
Lucky you!Yoda's Master wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 8:30 pmI got my car scheduled for 2/22/21.
Apparently I'm the first in line for it since notices for this recall haven't been sent out yet.
You can check here for any service bulletin: https://www.infiniti-techinfo.com/TSB/T ... sbType=TSB It's where I found my info.Yoda's Master wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 12:12 amLol M56...Q50...almost the same
I can't find the service bulletin online, but I'm going to ask them if I can have a copy for future reference.
I mean the actual that gives you all the new part numbers and install instructions. I'm interested in seeing if they change any of the fastener torque specs.C6Joe1957 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 11:14 amYou can check here for any service bulletin: https://www.infiniti-techinfo.com/TSB/T ... sbType=TSB It's where I found my info.Yoda's Master wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 12:12 amLol M56...Q50...almost the same

Sorry I didn't follow up yesterday but the service rep called me later in the day and stated that they do have my parts after all. I'm scheduled for next Tue. the 16th. I'm going to request that they provide a service history print out also. They are going to check my TCM to see if it had the transmission refresh (B 2011-2012 M37/M56; Shift Responsiveness Issues
Summary of ITB12021). They said if it hasn't been done, it will cost $195 because my car is beyond 70K miles.
Oh, my bad. I misunderstood the question but maybe when I go in Tuesday the Tech can share that with me and if so, I'll post up here what they are.Yoda's Master wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 9:22 pmI mean the actual that gives you all the new part numbers and install instructions. Nice!C6Joe1957 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 9:07 amOkay, my recall was completed last week and I was able to get the service history of my car but they couldn't to tell me anything about the details of the recall other than what's on my invoice below.
When I got home I jacked up the rear of car and had a look. They replaced the entire propeller shaft even though I was under the impression that it would only be the rear section.
Yoda's Master wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 2:22 amWell I thought they did the repair, but they just kept my car for a day and said the parts are backordered.
I found the recall and service bulletins. They didn't want to give it to me, but the paperwork had the number and google magic produced the info.

are you sure you actually ordered the right part? Do you have a picture of the part?Davealan wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 7:22 pmI called the local dealership on 3/13 about my M35H and was advised the parts weren't available yet so they scheduled me for 3/29 hoping the parts are in. The website FAQs for this recall state that Infiniti will provide a loaner vehicle while waiting for the parts and /or while the parts are being installed so I asked the Service Manager and he said just only if they keep the car overnight... so I called Infiniti America to complain and they confirmed the rental costs will be covered by the Warranty Dept. while you wait for the part = push to be properly serviced.
I had planned on bringing it in and getting a loaner but then 2 days later while going about 70 mph on the interstate during rush hour driving to work the car goes into limp mode 1.5 miles from my office! I checked google and let it "cool off" about 5 times and crept to my office parking lot so AAA could tow it to my mechanic.
His diagnosed is a cracked air intake tube. He order one and 3 days later the box arrived from Infiniti with the correct label but the wrong part inside, told me there was only 1 other part in the US and ordered it through Infiniti and today I was informed the same thing happened, correct label still wrong part.
I was looking to get the recall taken care of because I have decided to leave the Infiniti family, after 5 years of love and hate with my M35H I am done so they Mechanic will tape up with HVAC tape covered by black electrical tape and it will be sold as is ASAP.
