Well I can attest first hand at some of the boxes, and how things were shipped to Brandon. I haven't said anything but if people send Lights to Brandon and its gets damaged in shipping to him, I do not think he responsible. The fact that he is replacing a light shipped to him broken is completely unfair. No Nico Fabricator would ever replace the product, nor should Brandon have to. My two cents he is replacing the light says a lot about him.LongBeachCoupe wrote:No ones driving up to see you other than to pick up their lights (canada post sucks apparently)..
And again, I am only here to ensure member satisfaction.. Although it may seem like I may be "getting in your way" it is only to protect the members involved. Its not like i own stock in lightwurkz or something.
i just want to take this opportunity to publicly apologize to Brandon. Im pretty sure hes talking about me in the above quote. I didnt read this thread of the GB thread before i started making accusations and asking for a refund. Its just you have to understand (to me) when a mod of a forum sends out an email like that, I dont think before you act because you know (hope) that the mods are just doing their job and looking out for the members of the forum. Im still a newb to the car modding industry and forums, and sometimes i still have a blind eye in regards to things. This is the example that i told Brandon, and i know its bad, but... its like if your parents wake you up in the middle of the night and tell you the house is on fire. You dont stop to investigate and make sure its not a stupid drill before making a decision.....you get the eff out of the house as fast as you can(yes, yes, i know, bad example, but this has been a long day at work...lol).brandonbeeb wrote:ive got one person who is still demanding a refund and trying to see what i can do to fix this with the person as they havnt even recieved there lights or sent them into me yet.
The only problem with marking anything as fragile, is usually when that sticker goes on, and it alleviates the company from any liability and working at an airport, fragile stickers are targets for bash the hell out of me.Sentientbydesign wrote:Here are some guidelines regarding shipping:
Get insurance. It doesn't cost much (the insurance, not the customs fees) and it will save a lot of heart ache. I require this on all of my shipments even though damage to my products is laughable.
Pack it well- If you need to double box the lights or get lots of newspaper, do so. For the guys: consider these headlights like your balls. If you don't dampen the blows...enough said.
If someone wants to do a "Packing write-up", that might be helpful.
Mark it as Fragile- Hopefully the carrier will take this into consideration when they see it in conjunction with the insurance attached.
I want the projector fogs as well and I saw that brandon isn't going to do them anymore and that thread got deleted as well. NICO mods at their best...Infantry1327 wrote:Well said. Thank you
I myself will still be getting my lights done, and me and brandon are trying to figure out some projectors for the fogs as well.
No back to the nico version of Days of Our Lives
Ain't that the truth!Sentientbydesign wrote:Here are some guidelines regarding shipping:Pack it well- If you need to double box the lights or get lots of newspaper, do so. For the guys: consider these headlights like your balls. If you don't dampen the blows...enough said.
Can we start asking questions before we jump to conclusions? I see the Altima community lashing against the staff too often and it hurts. We are all volunteers here and we do everything in the best interest of the members and NICO.Jose3.5 wrote:
