hey guys,

my projector headlights just about a year or so after getting them are now producing fog/moisture on the inside. well one of them at least, the right passenger side.

from what im hearing i cant do much about it. other than trying to reseal it and maybe even drill a tiny hole to get out the water or moisture.

i've contacted the seller whom i bought it off of ebay, and am awaiting his reply.

but in the meantime, does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do?

Sounds about right. Trying to find where its leaking and reseal.

Or find a place to drill a breather hole. If you get extreme could hook up some small fans to circulate air in/out. But that is way too crazy compared to resealing.

If the seller is non-responsive, you can always bake them in the oven, break them apart and then reseal them back up. Else, a breather hole with a tube to help keep water out should do it.....

whats funny is i dont really see any water built up at the bottom. it fogs up and has condensation but from what i can tell no water built up.

seeing as i dont do much work myself on the v, i'd rather not drill a hole or try to reseal it myself lol.. im gonna have to get someone to take a look at it. cause its really pissing me off seeing one headlight fogged up and the other perfectly fine

Have u changet the lamps in there during the period? The fog thingie happens if the rubber thingie with wires (dunno how it's originally called, but hope u get me right) that u remove to change the lamp is badly installed back. The medicine for that is to move the lamp off and try to dry the headlight through the hall with hairdryer (better not hot). It sometimes helps. But be careful not to blow dust inside the headlight!Hope it would help you. And, btw, if u have already solved the problem - post the solution please...in case some1 get the same crap.

whats funny is the problem fixed itself...its really weird

i noticed after adjusting the headlights it fogged up, didnt have time or money to put into it to fix it so i just left it be. one day i noticed it was gone! nothing was done to it, it just disappeared!

So i adjusted it a second time, same thing happened!

So in conclusion if your projector headlights fog up after adjusting it, just let it be for a while and it will fix itself.
