I just cant decide... a guy offered to trade me a coupe parts car PLUS a vert with no rust, just a lil damage to the hood / head light cover / fender, but I can fix that with parts from the coupe. On top of that the parts car is 5speed ...

Only problem is, its about to be winter, and I have the chance to get a super rare awd turbo car for a good price. Also, the draw to this car is that Ill be happy with it for now, and it will keep me safe through the winter. I know that I have insane plans for the vert and Im sure costs will go into the 10's of thousands, something I can make happen, but it would be stretching my resources....

so what do I do!?

(and a side note, Im selling my coupe for about 3500 obo, so tell me if you think its worth it. Oh and the awd turbo car is 3000...)

AWD Turbo for $3K = lots of expensive parts to replace soon.

There's a reason people sell "rare" cars cheap - they can't afford to keep them.

If the Turbo AWD car is an All-Trac, then consider that more than say an Impulse. I can't think of too many other AWD Turbo cars for 3k except like a GTX--I may just be brain-farting but outside of an All-Trac, the 240 wins hands down.

hey man, your signature is golden...

what is that.. a rx7?

well lets just say that the awd turbo car is clean, and Ill have it conpression tested, and put it on a lift to take a look underneath.. and all that good stuff.

But even so, I think Im gonna get hte vert, cuz it comes with a parts car that isnt that parted up(I can put it back together and swap the manual into the vert and vice versa into it and sell it..) Also me buying the awd turbo car is reliant on me selling my car...

I think you should save yourself all the time and energy and buy my car.

I have a black 92 convertible with an RB20det already swapped in. It's got a 5 spd tranny swapped as well. Also has a VLSD swapped into the rear end. Comes with dual power fans, Walbro fuel pump, working top and gauges (most swapped 'verts don't have working gauges or power top), etc...

Only needs a new water pump ($129).

Looking for $5000. Shipping to Chicago... $750

It's a really good deal man! Think about it.

Stay with the 240sx, you'll be happy. In addition theres a reason the convertible is 150lbs heavier, more crossmembering and transom support.Don't bother with the 5spd swap, unless the parts car is identical year.happy driving.

Yah Big_Daddy's car is great for the price, I wish I had the time to bring her back to her former glory. However Im going to school next year, so Im going to stick with something more practical.. probably run 7lbs of boost on my coupe or something fun, or get the awd car cuz I know I wont be tempted to throw money into it.
