It's a 1990 Nissan 240sx Hatchback, previously owned by Ricky Chu (Thanks!). It definitely needs some body work, but all in all the car seems pretty well together.

So here are the pics!

We're going to completely strip the car, cage it, stroker motor, gt3582r, etc, etc. We're building it for drift / road race / time trials. Goal is 500+whp. The entire build is going to be featured on an online TV show coming out this summer called rspeedTV and we should have some good video along the way. I'll update this thread when I start getting parts and I see that the video is up. Thanks!

Which is it for..road race? drift? or time attack? You cant possibly do all of them

Is it just me or does your strut bar sit really far forward in the bay?

Haha I can do them all!!!! But seriously, it's more for drift but I'd like to compete in NASA TT and Redline Time Attack series. I'm not sure about the strut bar. I'm new to 240's. My last build was a wrx.

That's going to be sweet. I'm liking the new position for the shifter in the last picture, that should help you achieve a 50/50 bias.

You're right, you can do all three. Wheels/tires/suspension/aero can all be changed easily to suit the purpose. A boat-load of money and expertise is required, though lol.

NASA TT hell yeah!!! Your car will most likely class in TTU, same as me.

Can't wait to see the progress.

Yeah no doubt. I'm getting a set of "show" wheels for promotional photo shoots, magazine shoots and when we are asked to be a booth car for sponsors, but I'm going to have a second set of 8 or so wheels for racing/drift. Toyo offered a partial sponsorship so we might have R888's for time trails, and t1r's for drift. As for suspension, we're just going to beef the hell out of it, and probably throw some stance gr+ coilovers on there where we can adjust the damping accordingly for either events.

We've picked up almost 15+ sponsors already for the car, so a feature in a magazine is pretty critical. The TV show will be fun to shoot and we already started shooting some early things.

Next up is stripping the sound deadening and pulling the dash out.

Thanks everyone! I'm pretty excited about the project. I'm getting some dry ice pellets today to try and strip the sound deadening.
