Project: Replacement sunroof switch for 1st gen Q45?

Hi folks,

I was just curious. I broke the sunroof switch on my 94 Q, and I've been reading how everyone else seems to be breaking theirs. I had a thought about just making an entirely new switch set up using standard rocker switches instead of the eclectic design of the factory switch.

So far I've figured out how to get it to tilt, open and close, but using my standard switches, I can't seem to get auto-open to work, which isn't a big deal at the moment.

I was just curious if people would be interested in a replacement switch panel that essentially bolts in place of the current switch package. Also, if anyone knows where to get the plug, I could make a plug-n-play unit, instead of having to cut and splice in your existing harness plug.

Thoughts?
