Very nice restoration job. Are you going to respray the entire truck the stock blue color? Did you restore it with the original parts, or did you ugprade some things? Does that have the L20B in it?

Well its not being restored. Just fixed up to deliver hay and feed. ANd it does have a L20B from a 78(red truck in sig) Also its not stock blue, it used to be yellow and it might just go back to yellow. Im going to take the motor i pulled from it and rebuilt it for the red truck.

Sweet. So when are you gonna get the dual Weber 45DCOE's and the 280Z 5-speed? :D

Well dual webers are going to wait for the other truck and a 280ZX 5sp is not going to happen ive got 2 4sp's that i can make one out of for it. These are going to be working trucks, not playing trucks(even though they may have a little fun on the weekends)

The four speeds are not bad transmissions. I had one mated to my cammed, carbed, headered, clutched, 80 over bored L20B for a good couple of years. Freeway cruising was kind of brutal at close to 6000RPMs, but they took the torque and the abuse like champs. I was surpised that 30+ year old parts could be capable of such things.

If you want a performance cam, I suggest Webb. They're based out here in southern California. I used their cams for both my L18 and L20 engines. They have pretty extensive experience with cams for L-series engines, so they'll be able to recommend a good one for you, depending on what sort of carburation and what not you end up with.
