Project: No Shortcuts

Project run down/Goal:Few months ago, my bro kicked me down with his old 90' s13. Personally, i wanted a s30z but only because of the negative attention that "Street Racers" bring to the s-chassis. Plusss no smoggggggging!!!!...

The main goal in this project is to not take any shortcuts, by halfstepping anything....Basically im going to run through the entire car and fix what needs fixing and better the downfalls......Car runs fine, has high mileage just like most ka24e s13s do, was pretty much beat up by the previous owner (before my brother) and has minor missteps here and there...Almost everything is ghetto wired, one of my frame rails is bent to **** and im rocking some flippin 501s that are wacko status...Just got another jobski though, and 80% of my cash flow is going into this car...Ill keep you guys updated...

Step by step...0.) Don't let other dude's work on your car, YOU have to build a car in order for it to be your car...(Not hot on welding so i might have somebody fab me a cage sHHHHH) 1.) Build a daily driven track car. (Don't flame, i don't care if you disapprove of it. =]) 2.) Gutt it, rewrap and inspect all wires, clean that bish up3.) Sand, Sand, Sand, Paint interior, & relocating stuffs4.) Motor swap5.) Suspension 6.) LSD7.) Dubsss looking to get a set of advan oni's LMK if you got some 17 x 9s8.) type X status9.) Cage her up10.) Paint the exterior PPG HOMMIE thinking of painting the car white then adding a black roof w/ gold flake open to ideas...11.) TAKE OVER the canyons and become know on the streets...

going to run with the faze and drop a SR in her...was thinking about doing a high comp KAde swap also, cuz running a sr in cali is riskay...

Did you put that motor in the car? If so I see countless shortcuts such as the engine bay not being clean, motor dirty, etc, etc. Are you going to be using ebay for this "no short cuts" build?

no my bro actually put the motor into the car, i was just showing that picture as an example of how the car started out...When i motorswap, im going to prolly seam weld and repaint =]...Ebay might possibly be used...the cars got a Ebay "nismo" test pipe on it right now

well what would you define shortcuts as being??? by saying no shortcuts i mean that i am running through the entire car and doing certain things...for example, instead of just leaving the sound deadening that's behind the dash, i removed the dash and the ac components in order to strip it...could of just left it back there... =]....

You need to post up what weight you get the car down to once you get it all done. I'm just curious how much it will weigh with out all the sound deadening behind the dash. I weighed mine withought my interior and the sr swap and it was down to 2480lbs.
