Also purchased all brand new brake & clutch sytem components minus hard lines, every part of the suspension is brand new, uca,lca ball joints, bushings everything only original parts are chassis, frame, steering wheel, and dash board plus a few misc parts i couldn't afford to replace. engine has also completely rebuilt, only stock parts there are block which had a bit of machining to make way for the tomie 2.8l stroker kit, and head is completely redone., all lines etc. SS braided. ME soooo broke. but i have got pretty much a brand new 240sx s13 capable of handling 850ish weakest link is the turbo gt35r. i will never do a project like this again. the end, i'll post more pics asap, hope you enjoy

looking really good man it reminds me of doing my boring stock rb26dett swap into my s14 lol but dont worry its all worth it you will love it even with 850hp cause i love my stock 307rwhp rb26 lol. but keep em coming. also are you building this car for road racing? drag? or drift? anyways good luck

only shooting for 600ish, mostly drag but i think i'm gonna try and drift it if i don't kill myself in the process. i really wish i did the rb26 but oh well either way it'll be an insane car that'll take me for a ride of a lifetime. i've got a second car i'm gonna rebuild on a much much smaller scale. I have no regrets, and no money. thanx for the positive input

That's some damn nice work! Out of curiosity, how much did that fuel cell set you back?

well material was cheap and i had my buddy do the welding so it was cheap for me he said he'd charge someone else 600. Its rigid as hell.

As for the fuel cell cheap enough 120-140 i think, 16 gallon, the fuel pump and controller were big money

You all should know it's a RB25 not a RB26. Especially you HxC_Nismo. RB26's dont have that VVT thing on the intake cam gear like that. Thats the first thing I noticed. I didn't notice it was topped with RB26 valve covers until you guys mentioned it, hahaha. But clean setup none the less.

well to fool was not really the intention, The rb26 covers are just easier on the eyes? more or less for asthetics. But i could have just left it alone and said it was a stock rb25....not the 2.8l fully built beast that it is. Any one running an aftermarket crank dampner pulley? only thing i waited to the last minute to purchase was that and its gona take 6-8weeks to get a custom one from ATI ....if not for that i could have this thing 99% done but running in 2 weeks....

so the rb26 valve covers bolted right on? what about the front cam cover? would that bolt on? or are you just leaving it off to show the timing belt

I wouldn't say they bolted right on but wasn't too hard. The cam gear cover was modified......

just had to hog out a hole and purchase some new hardware.....my valve cover came with no hardware and were aleady half *** spray painted.....gay. Good luck finding them took me 3 months of searching....found a polished set for descent price on ebay....but got out bid while i was sleeping.....3 months later when i found a second set it was just the side valve covers no spark plug......search.....and search you'll find them eventually

so the valve covers bolted on pretty easy right? just had to cut the hole in the cam cover. did the rest of the cam cover bolt right up to the rb25 back plate?

Can you do a write up on that metal work on the front. I plan on striping my car down in a year or so and i think that would really help my already messed up front end.

i thought i read somewhere that you need the rb26 rear timing cover for the front cover to bolt to? That would be AWESOME if the rb26 cam cover bolts right onto the rb25 rear cover!!
