Does anyone have any experience or reviews on "Project Godspeed" products I plan on getting a full suspension replacement. Im not sure if i want the Coilovers though might go with a diff brand. But are the Coilovers good as well?

coilovers seem good. Picking up a set soon. Theres some Florida drift guys who give them thumbs up. Another guy who re builds coilovers took them apart and ok'd everything from the spring ratio to the welds. Dont always be fooled by the price, not everything cheap is bad and not everything expensive is good. Megan started out as i ebay brand so i heard, and they have a good reputation it looks like.

Ive been running godspeed RUCAs for a few months now and they've been great. I would have no problem running the full package

You don't know if they're sh***y unless you actually try them. The fact is that quite a few people have had really good luck with their suspension and they are becoming more popular and gaining a good reputation, and I think that chaps your a**

I've heard plenty of times before "Oh, Godspeed parts are garbage." After I hear that a couple times, I really start to think to myself "Hmmm, is it even worth the money? Am I going to get lucky and get a good part or am I going to get a bad part that could fail and hurt me and/or others."
I'd rather just buy parts that I KNOW have a good reputation, and they're not the same as every other gray market part out there.

By the way, Godspeed is just a name slapped on Motoria parts. They're the same as ISIS, and other eBay companies.

Good try, though.

PS- Who the f*** says "chaps your a**"? :inout:

I say just grab some exhaust piping... weld some cut springs onto them, and make your own suspension. Call it, Project "Goodspeed"

Poor welds on them, mild steel, and the paint... half of it is chipped away by the time you get it. I have their sway bars and RUCA meh they work but not the best looking quality

i love these threads on godspeed... not

i bought the coilovers last year in june, went drifting 2 times and dailyed my car and the 2 fronts were blown by december

Im getting BC's now

any of the other suspension parts are okay but if you buy the coils you will regret it... and im suprised the "how low do they go" question wasnt asked, but they dont go low... at all... and they willl send u new coils but who wants to swap out there coils every 4-6 months plus the 2 week down time...

here they are maxed out on my hatch

lol...I have their front and rear sway bars and like outtowin states...the quality just isn't there. cheap paint and although they are beefy, I would compare them to a little bit above oem in my opinion.

Just do it right once and then you wont have to buy replacements for the same parts, ya kno...but this is just advice, it is your car in the end

I have Yamato Garage tension rods, ruca's, traction rods and toe rods. I havent used them but they look beefy and like a great product. I know a few people that use them and they dont have any complaints. I am running tein basic coilovers(which suck because they are only ride height adjustable) and they ride stiff but still streetable. I will be upgrading so If you want these, let me know.lol.

I am thinking either BC Racing ER Series or Tein Super Drifts(with edfc cuz thats baller)

Powered By Max says that Ikeya inner tie rods(you could go with the full PBM setup)
http://www.gtfactory.jp/cms/page.php?15

I am thinking about getting some Suspension Techniques Sway bars because I havent heard anything bad and they are pretty stout.

Hope this helps a little bit

sways are generally unneeded with good coils, but highly recommended with struts/springs due to more compliance.

dont buy godspeed. period.

i had literally the ENTIRE Parts Shop Max catalog. i mean EVERYTHING suspension/steering wise. if i could do it again, id buy all the arms, but would have gone with a softer coil setup (fortune auto, tein, etc). the price is right with PSM and the quality is above and beyond what you could ever want.

this type of topic has been beaten to DEATH on here, and ALWAYS arrives at the same consensus.... you buy s***, you get s***, you replace s***.

buy it ONCE, install it ONCE, and never regret it. PSM, SPL are the ONLY arms id run, unless its on some dirty beat trackslut car that you obviously dont care about.... then who cares.... cus its your life on the line, not other drivers on the road, swerving to avoid your aids-heap suspension failing on the road

their sway bars are crimp bent instead of mandrel bent and they give you rubber bushings... you don't have to try that out to know thats cheap quality. Not to mention they don't even give you brackets for their d bushings.... you have to use your own.

apparently I just did.

To everyone else, if your low on money, Godspeed will be fine. My RUCAs are doing just fine. No paint has chipped away, and the welds looks fine. I just hate when people give their opinions about products but have no experience with them. ya'll are like little middle school kids who say wal-mart polos aren't as good as real polos because they aren't the same brand

It's a good comparison, actually. Walmart polos are going to be very cheaply made, look cheap, don't last nearly as long, probably won't fit as well, and the fabric is going to feel very poor in comparison to something nicer.

Since RUCAs were mentioned specifically I'll just post the comparison.

Comparing the rest of their arms is equally hilarious. People are obsessed with buying cheap, inferior parts. I've never understood that mindset.
