ya know, it could be as simple as a timing issue (so says shanelach and kevinphan, THE most unique usernames known on NICO). I'll find out Friday

i've been missing out on this thread lately, I wanna see a review on some ebay coilovers!

I read some other reviews on the godspeeds and some people liked them. The only thing they did was lock-tite some of the bolts and screws on the camber plate just to insure proper assembly. These guys tracked their car on these godspeed coils and they said they worked great.

O yeah, my project ebay in the boost dept. is still running awesome (Ebay t3/t4, ebay intercooler on 10 psi)

loooool.

fast, reliable, cheap. pick two, cus thats all youll ever have. ive just resigned the option for cheap... i want the other two.

i kinda feel bad for ya, but in a way, this was karma. swift kick to the balls.

if they are doing ALL this effort to get you a new motor... where the hell is it?

i only buy from friends or well known vendors.

it was a company called "fatboy garage" in el monte, CA..the parts are typical ebay parts as I can see close resemblances in the pictures or other ebay vendors. Just the typical oil cooled .57 trim t3/t4, ssac manifold, and the knockoff 38mm tial wastegate. I run 10 psi daily, but I would think twice before increasing the boost

that sucks. i wouldn't say it was because of ebay, but it is pretty funny that the ebay build never ran haha.

thats cool about the sti, but i woudl have thought that you could build a 240 for less then an sti, especially with ebay parts.

in my experience, subarus dont respond very well to power adders

the first mod subie owners usually do is the hks bov and the rumbly exhaust so maybe it adds a little

I doubt Jesse checks this thread anymore so here we go, its being sold and it's funny you all think it is because of the parts he bought of eBay which had nothing to do with his engine not running. If Tiger didn't sell crappy engines like half of the shops out there today maybe it would have been up and running for quite some time now.

Could be timing, but none the less his STi is quite fun to drive if I do say so myself.

I must have mis read posts haha, Mr Green Eyes seemed to have said it seems like it was karma for using cheap parts, I guess? Maybe not.

Don't people usually build cars from ebay parts because they can't afford an STI? Military bonus check? lol...AWD just isn't as fun but if winning from a dead stop gets ur jollies then gg for me.

I'd love to fix er up. If you keep the price that high i may be able to this summer KEKEKEKEKKE.rust condition of the chassis?

Like I said in the beginning, I can afford parts, but why spend the dough? And with this turnout I'm glad I didnt lol. Not military bonus check, just form my job

You say AWD isnt fun, but once you DD it, it hits you like the plague!

Price drop on 240... I'll take 3k, CASH TALKS, just dont lowball me to death lol

rust free for the most part. minor rust near the exhaust hanger. Really minor.

Also... COILS FOR SALE email me $650 homes!

Proof AWD is awesome, probably for a week if you drive like this all the time though.

I think I may invest in one next summer and turn the 240 into a project
