That clearance pic is a little misleading with the flat tire and all. But hey, its looking great so far.

Car is comin along nicely, mayne. I was just looking at Ebay earlier today, silvia front-end/180 tails and clicked on over to the KA24DE-T pages and found a few things for relatively cheap I wouldnt mind looking into so.. thanks for giving those of us that havent bought **** from Ebay a little more insight into the products.

Keep it updated for us, hope the two-fawty is running good for you now.

I agree; that way we can narrow down quality ebay sellers. Sorry for teh thread jack.

You may have gotten rid of some rear fender gap, but the car is as high as a jeep lol. We've all been there at some point.

Light truck/minivan tires i think. spending total lets see... $700 for the car$40 carpet$40 backseat $145 exhaust$168 cat$111 headers$172 tires (mounted and balanced)$30 intake$50 paint$17 headliner

Total: $1473Not bad for a keep myself busy project, at all. its tough to find a running 240 around here for less than 2k, let alone with new tires, headers and exhaust. i'm proud

xrider, i'm blocking it off and i'm pulling all emissions when the swap gets done and the engines out

that looks like crap (the tires). why get such a huge tire in the back? theres no point in staggering the tires like that. now you cant rotate either. i think you still could have saved some cash on that cat by getting a cheap universal and having some flanges welded to it as well. as far as cheaping out on the rest, its your plan; so far, so good.

so, doesnt excuse the crappy tire size, that was your choice. im sure those werent the last 4 tires in the shop, maybe the CHEAPEST 4 tires, but not the last.

oh sweet thats what i was thinkin cuz the other tire wasnt worn. was the car hit in the front driver side? looks like the strut is a little bent. no biggie theres no damage, maybe a bad strut? i'm lowering it when i get the wheels in 2 weeks so no big deal

shop? i used craigslist lol. i didnt get a stimulus check that i was anticipating cuz im over 18 and a dependant so i had to borrow $100 so i just used craigslist. like i said, they'll last me, i dont think it looks to bad, i just need a driver front inner fender wall and it'll look a lil better

recently got my exhaust manifold in the mail, FINALLY!

Not a fast shipment by any means, took 9 days, and i needed this part, expecting it in the usual 5-7 days things take to ship. e-mail contact was minimal, they auto notified me I won, then send shipment info 2 days later, listing all the common shipping companies (fedex, ups, usps) giving me a tracking number n leaving it up to me to figure out who's shipping it.

Box was kinda rough...

Product was packed to a rating of 5 on a scale 1 to 10. they put plastic to stop any dings, but the 1 sheet of bubble wrap was the type you'd find around a cup from the dollar store. like i said, alot of plastic, but i like to see alot of the large bubble bubble wrapping, wrapped, not placed, on the product

They're going to get neutral feedback, the slow ship kinda irritated me.

Also got an update on the money for the swap... for those who dont know, long story short, house sale was supposed to be settled amongst family in January, they wont sign check. bull****td til now, money will be in next friday the latest so my swap will be in sometime next month

sounds nice, but im in the middle of replacing the alternator so performance and other than idle sound i wont know until tomorrow when the sound should be up

when it was idling before i found out about the bad alternator, it was loud cuz it's been sitting, but once it started to come down it sounded very nice, the perfect purr.

how's the V6 perform

so i got the car to stay running, the rough idle went away and thats that. i found i need ne suspension... BAD. i was debating coilovers vs springs and struts but i have some debts to pay and i found a guy on craigslist that has some cheap, gold motegi mr8, i believe, wheels. so i'm going to get...

Springs: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVWo ... rs...ZWDVW

Struts: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVWo ... rs...ZWDVW

Let me know what you guys think!

But it also looks like you need motor mounts badly in that 1 pic of the engine bay.
