Wow. Why would you seriously consider buying a turbo made by Chinese children?

They're all reverse engineered and are practically glued together (in some cases they really are, no joke).

You have to pay to play. Got it?

one can pick up a used t25 for 20-50 bucks, t28 for 50-100, t3/t4 for 80-200. Think of buying used parts this way. If one were to buy an sr20 it's going to have miles on everything, so if it has 35k on the engine, the turbo has that mileage too...tons of people swap in sr's....used turbos are just as good imo. I picked up a t04 for cheap that was freshly rebuilt by garrett. Don't settle for an ebay turbo, settle for a used one that's not going to fall apart.

i guess to avoid all of that they just use craigslist

thanks alot dude, here are some better pics:

just gotta trim up the back a little bit near the rear window, got some air bubbles but eh, it was a trial and error, first time shot, i'm happy with it. i didnt take pics, only these, but i'll photoshop a DIY together

as for the projectmini-update...

got the cat, it arrived in my town at the post office 5am tuesday, didn't get it tuesday, so maybe wednesday right? nope. so I call the post office on wednesday after the mail came and tell them idk where it is, get the supervisor at usps, he looks and i get a personal delivery to my door, great customer service for the post office

when purchased the next day I recieved an automated message with usps shipment tracking. i liked the message from sender like lokokeck did with my exhaust, but at least I could track it.

shipped out the 2nd recieved on the 7th but was in town at 5 am on the 6th so very good shipping.

received:

inside:

inside of that... THE PRODUCT WOO!!

all gaskets and hardware came in a little baggie, very organized and awesome, brand name product.

the next addition, and final addition until the swap will be my headers. i'm going to have to have mineke or someone lop the part that connects to the cat off of them and re-weld a 3" connector on.

thanks for all the hits and support everyone i'll be sure to update

what was the point of buying the cat on ebay???

It can be found all over the net on reputable sites for 149.99 max and less shipping. Oh I forgot, everything MUST be from ebay, even if it costs more.

thats what i'm probly going to do, find a good swap on ebay. ive been reading the sponsor threads here and they all seem to have their probs. MAF or ECU probs or shipment or not having entire swaps ready to go or w/e it may be.

i might just ebay one to stick with the build, then sell it with the engine down the road. that way i can add a little more since i hear ebay headers are easily sqished with pliers if theyre hot.

Hey guys, this isnt my thread, but i got stuff off ebay, and thought i would give a quick review for you...

I got my steering wheel hub / wheel / quick release combo.

Install was straight forward, you will lose the auto turn signal cancel (on the S14 anywho) The steering wheel sits about 2" further back than stock (which is great for big people who sit far back anyways).. the quick release is is rock solid, no play what-so-ever. and does exactly what it says it should..

I also picked up (minus sway bars)

Installed them, and got it aligned, at first it was squeaky, because i had brand new AGX shocks, after about 10 miles, everything smoothed out, and the car is ROCK solid.

Anywho, enjoy guys!@

If this is going to be a thread where more than one person contributes, contributers should post prices, name of seller, shipping price and time to ship. Hell, you could just do like the OP and do a print screen of the auction. Now THAT would be some stickyworthy ish.....a thread dedicated to ebay quality control (or in some cases, lack thereof lol)
