I'm in college too. I go to school full time and work full time, I prefer to work hard and save my money and get good stuff. It's not just about functional equalness; quality, support, reputation etc. are all really important to me as well...and you're just not gonna find all that stuff with this bottom of the barrel ebay stuff.

I will say this though, after reading through this thread I know why we get such a bad rep haha. You know how all 240 owners are cheap and poor and when you tell someone you have a 240 they ask how many colors it is. I guess that's why people tell me all the time my 240 is sooooo clean when I don't think it is at all; but they're just comparing it to all the other 240 buckets on the road.

I take 15 credit hours at UF and I work at Lowe's after class anywhere from 5-7 hours a day and usually 20 on the weekends. It's pretty simple.

Well I bought my exhaust retail because I wanted something awesome and really quiet. It's one piece of awesomeness that was delivered to me in an 8.5 foot box. If it was on ebay and was cheaper I'd have bought it there...I suppose. But you can't find an Apexi Hybrid Megaphone on ebay, and if you could, it'd be a retail price like the other apexi's on there. And if I'm gonna pay retail, I'm gonna do it through a reputable shop...one that is a vendor on our wonderful forums.

That being said, like the one guy I just don't like the idea of purchasing reverse engineered, copy-cat knock offs. I wouldn't buy an intake at all, but other motor stuff (like suspension) is too important to cheap out on...in my opinion.

And besides, I'm serious about my car and I love it. Would you give your girl fake jewelry?
