Dude your thread will deff help some of us college students or just anybody on a budget . We need a mod to come in here and clean out some of the junk post. It might be entertaining but it has tainted your thread .....

BTW how is the header holding up?

a clean up would be nice *hint* *hint*. header is holding up well, slight color change from the heat, went from blingin chrome to kind of orange-ish bronze gold. I expected that. I hear when theyre hot you can bent them supposedly? when i bring my car to get the swap done, when i pull into the garage i'll *gently* so i dont break the thing id its true, apply pressure with some pliers and see what happens. i'll let you guys know.

definitly good for college kids. i mean, i'm a college kid and i know how the general age group thinks. people may bash but one day they'll be like sheeit... is this a good buy?? lol

Why would you buy a pink mushroom filter to begin with?Don't you think it would look kinda like a big pen15 coming off your engine? To me it looks like someone put a foam sponge in a dome shaped cage...I wonder how well shoving a sponge in my intake tube would perform

i've done some thinking, and not because of what others have said, but for money and other reasons im not going with coilovers. other reasons like i've never owned coilovers and i dont want a harsh rise, i dont plan on tracking, maybe like twice, stuff like that, plus, i can get kyb agx struts that are adjustable and thats really all i need

Ha we basically drive around mobile chalkboards Mine is loud(straighpiped) unreasonably low and rather ugly and I couldn't be any happier haha.

Although mine is now out of commision and sitting rather hurting in my garage being stripped down/parted out, I'm ready for the next one hehe.

hmmm... want coilover review? fine, you got it! i was thinking use vs price vs features. im not going to track to much so strut/spring wins. strut/spring is cheaper so 2:0 and coilovers have more features so the final score is 2:1. But this is where, for me, it gets tough... the features are it's adjustability. with spring/strut combo i have one set drop. i want my car loww like corys13, so i think im going to go with the coils so expect a full review since these are so controversial

i looked around on eBay and they only gave their main company address, no e-mail, so i'll have to go pen and paper if i can get hooked up. like i said, im buying from individuals, but who knows, eBay could like the reviews and stuff and send me some logos haha

I can be a guinea pig for the ebay coils. I think my upper strut bearings are shot (clunking) and they will be 130 for new ones...I've wanted coilovers for some time now and I'm considering getting some ebay coilovers. They are around 600 shipped but they don't come with the adjustment tool, but I was wondering if an adjuster tool from another coilover set would work.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...76679

I just want to slam my car and have stiffer suspension so I think they'll do, and they come with a one year warranty. I would also inspect them every once in a while for leaks and cracks....we'll see if I can afford them in a little bit

glad the "troll" is gone, im curious to see your coilover review ( i still wont ever trust em, but im not gonna diss your work)

spooled, those coilovers would probably be fine since delubozparts didnt make them, but be careful, some of their stuff is really sh1tty.

yea me to. thanks, like i said the order will be placed friday. I understand, a lot of people are like you, I'm a little shake-y myself, but I've heard earlier in this thread that people have been like actively beating on them so i figure a DD would be ok, and I appreciate your respect knuckles hommie

for the record... IF these coilovers fail, to all those doubting them please dont say "I told you so." "I thought so" will work though. Since this is a review, ad pretty much a test, I'm going in blind, hoping for the best. Like I said, they're cheap enough where if they die, I'm not going to be slamming on them so I'm not worried, I can replace them with brand name suspension.

i'm not gunna be able to afford those for awhile, but I'll be seeing how yours hold up in the mean time

i believe the only thing that can fail on those cheap coils are the shocks, but they come with a 1 yr. warranty right?

thats intresting to hear, i just helped my friends uncle install a set on his neon rt, and i was telling him how they arent any good 4 240's based on what i heard here on nico... And if they can hold up to nyc potholes.. hmm that speaks 4 itself.
