srpowered240sx wrote:how are you getting money for your grandmas house? if you dont mind me asking.
yes, it is my girlfriends grandmother. she passed and the house is being dispersed amoungst the family, and she's LOANing me some cash because I just started my job. that also explains why I'm asking from my GF's family, because I haven't even gotten my first check yet.

For all we know, and for all i hope, is that you're parents ditched you and you went house to house for years until a family finally felt sorry and took you in. I dont HAVE to ask, but if i want it done soon, i will.

smocan wrote:First of all, the only reason I'm getting into the mix is because some things are dangerous... like crappy welds on coilovers... if the welds aren't good, what would you expect from the moving parts?
Its not my one personal experience, there has been several instances of the crappy welds, and pictures.
This thread is ridiculous in the first place... you are all respecting reviews from a guy who has only bought the cheapest parts you can buy??? He doesn't even know what the real thing is like or should feel like... smart.
Its funny because I could probably sell him a set of blown shocks and he'd be like, "they were awesome," I felt the road better, they feel rough like "racing" shocks. (thinking the weird feeling is the aftermarket shocks... he doesn't know any better)
No matter what part he gets, he has nothing to compare it to.
This thread is nothing new or creative, look on honda forums.... seriously.
thakns for your help, but i've heard from people who use them themselves at events and they hold up fine, and i'm just going to DD, maybe like 1 or 2 events. i havent only bought the cheapest parts all my life. i just have to pay for college too so i dont have to much money. you sell me crap parts im not retarded and i'll know. why should i respect a review of these coilovers since you use brand names only and havent tried them for yourself? i compare it to stock, since thats what im starting with here. and i never said look at a cool new idea i had. i knew people use ebay but when i first thought about doing it all i saw was should i go this or what do you think about this, all reguarding ebay parts so i thought hmmm... lets try to give some place to set a review for anyone who searches "eBay" they see my thread and are like hmmm, i want this how'd it go?
i dont know anything about guitars haha so i wont even go there...
nismo350z:I know what you're about, I know what a troll is, and I understand you're view on eBay and "cheaping out," but by NO MEANS does that mean im doing it for the SOLE reason im cheap, just understand that. I can afford big names, but it will take me longer since i get paid bi-weekly and i need a DD. also, i honestly do want to let people know, alot of people wonder about eBay and im happy I can help.
as for the TOPIC:so far everything's holding up fine. i know its only been a little bit and it's only header back but it sounds good, deep, not ricey. it's starting to break in and it's getting deep at about 3k rpms where it took 3.5 to 4k before. part of the money im fortune enough to receive will be in tomorrow, so that's when ill order the coilovers and let you guys know.
