So yes, I'm back. This is now my 3rd S13. The itch just won't go away! I sold Project Sky40 to pay some bills, but mainly because it was getting in the way of college at the time. :tisk: As it drove off into the sunset, I knew deep down I'd be back. The new journey begins...peep:

I'm also doing a video blog for this build. Here's ep 1.

The car needs lots of work, but the frame is better than my last one:

The battery was obviously the first thing to be replaced. Not going to do post on it since it's just a cheap battery until I do the NEO swap.

When I got the car home, I locked the doors to keep it safe. Turns out the ignition key does not work on the doors. In fact, none of the keys matched, and Nissan wasn't able to show me any love on a new key set. So, I ordered a set and had them installed. Now all the doors, ignition and trunk use the same key:

Glad I did the HUD dash:

Tried repairing the hatch, got too busy. Gave up on it. Bought another clean hatch:

Had no intention of buying wheels but came across 18's with tired for around $200. Couldn't say no:

You can see in those pics where I treated the rust. It was a simple sand a spray paint job. More of damage control than actually repairing. In all honesty, I'm struggling to decide if I should repair the rust, or just cut the rear quarters up and go widebody. Either way, I want it to look clean.

Any advice? Has anyone does rear quarters?
