I want to make a new build thread that will focus mainly on the project this time. I have came along way from when I got the car to how she is now. The car is being built for Drifting and also as my weekend (relieve stress) car. :chuckle: I started out with a 89 hatch project. During the rebuild of that I discovered alot of rust in places I didnt want it. Floor boards were gone, under the firewall, and my strut tower ended up pulling away from the fram of the car. During the project, My wife picked up a Sil-forty. This is the cleanest S chassis I have ever seen. No rust anywhere. After driving it for a few she got a Honda Civic. Shes not really into all the tuning and modification stuff like I am so the Civic stays stock. I sold my project and started the new one. This is my 9th s13 and will be the last.

So, Lets she how I do on this project. I started stripping it to do all the body work and to start de-ricing the pepboys interior.

I figured I would spray bomb my car the same color as I have always loved and used on my Silvia Build...O.D. Green

When it came to a motor. I wanted to do a ford 302 5.0 that I had. The winter quickly came to an end and now I have decided to do a KA-DE swap. Maybe I'll add a T to that after my Daughter is born. I found a 96 KA for cheap. I had alot of new parts laying around so I ended up replacing all the gaskets, water pump, EGR, some senors and some hoses.
I test fitted the motor before I got to far into it. To be honest...I just wanted to see a motor back in this car. :gapteeth: I'll be using my old trans from my KA-E and I not sure what clutch I wanna go with as of yet.

After I pull the motor to clean it up, Im going to bomb the bay some ridiculous color. I did get started on the interior. I used the same interior from my recent project so it looks the same.

XXR 002's
and my favorite...My pink shift knob :yesnod

Im hoping to have the wiring harness in tomorrow so I'll post up what I get done.

I like this. Looks like a lot of work though. I'm digging the XXR 002's. Well played sir. Good-luck with your build!
