Project "Budget Banzai II"

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

I bought a car today, a crappy Nissan 200sx S13 without engine/transmission.A winter project ready to use (abuse?) next summer.

Posted this in the Hybrid forum just because I will create a hybrid, will use a Volvo I6 turbo engine and BMW 6-speed gearbox.Got the engine and car but no transmission at the moment, will buy one soon.

The big goal with this car is low weight, will use a lot of CF and aluminum.

Pics will be posted as soon as I get the car in the garage.

Yeah, I´ll keep her RWD. Making it FWD would be hard AND stupid!

Don´t know about the rear axle yet but the cheapest way to get a strong axle and disc LSD is to use a BMW one, I got the stock open diff now.

Maybe I'm missing something. The 200SX is FWD, the 240SX is RWD, which one is it you bought?

Haha, ok. The CA powered S13 is called 200sx in Europe. Same as your 240 but CA instead of KA.

This is the only picture I´ll post right now, the car is crazy ugly. Will post a lot more when I´ve mounted a widebody kit and got the body in better condition.

Found a 6-speed BMW transmission today, might pick it up this weekend.

Haha, or not? Saw way too many primer S13´s in Cali, not my cup of tea.Planning white pearl with CF parts, got a paint shop at my job = cheap.

Just trying to find good wide body fenders but the shipping from USA cost three times more than the actual parts, feels kinda weird.
