Well lets say I'm cheap and I mean REAL cheap (think Wes sort of cheap :pface ) and you're looking to save money... how bad of a project do you think something like this would be:

I know, I know... the first thing that came to your mind was "GAD that Wes must be REAL FRIGGIN CHEAP!" Right?! Well you are.

Mmmmhmmm... Soooo... this is one BIG project. I feel the repairs are quite possible though. Now say you were me with all this spare time, willingness to learn and you were cheap (real cheap). Would you go out and buy this? Cost is around $250 CDN + more than double that with shipping, then taxes. About $650 CDN total. Then you're looking at repairing it. Possibly another $150 CDN for materials to repair it and a shatload of time. $800 total for an awfully nice (repaired) body kit. For us cheap skates that's a sweet deal.

Then again, there's always a WALD kit like this for $650 CDN + shipping. Just it's for the first gen... any ideas if it would fit the 2nd?

Corey

P.S. P.P.S. for Wes's eyes only P.P.S. <3

Hell, why not?

I'd buy that wing to help "defray" expenses... :D

Also, ask the seller if they'll throw in the chrome driprail (above the doors).

That's a short wheelbase G50, so it should fit.

I agree.

I think it will fit, but you will have to cut the new bumper cover at the chrome strip and use the upper portion of your current bumper cover.

The chrome strip can hide the seam, and can be replaced relatively cheaply.

Greg, if I get it consider the wing yours! I'm not a big fan of the 3 piece wings... I really like the 1 piece though...

I think I'll follow through and buy this if I Auto-Grande won't sell a kit for the Q... or if no other quality kits come up on yahoo auctions in the next couple days.

Any idea btw whether or not the first gen body kit would fit the 2nd gen Q?

Cool - I'll send you my Touring wing... :)

I think anything can be modified to fit, that's why I'd buy the one in the pics - The sides and rear should be easy, the front bumper *may* offer a challenge but I really don't see an issue with it either...

Maybe some bigger pics would help.
