We got finished with what makes it twerk. AKA the brakes and alignment and other random minor essentials.I'll just post a pic of knuckle goodness at full lock off the ground. Fenders are massaged to fit the tires, so no more raising the front coilovers necessary for everything to work.

aero needs fitted still and a real alignment is needed. I'll let teh ownerer explain the rest.

Sweet wing. You should let me buy it off of you.

The lack of slammage bothers me, but the sexy wing makes up for it...a little.

im honestly and genuinely sad i cant go any lower without going to smaller tires

and no. wing stays. its too sweet. annd SHUTUP with the lowness thing... im tucking 1/2" of tire the whole way around...

brakes/power steering is bled. car can turn lock to lock now, after HEAVY hammering of the fenders. turns like a beast.

HOWEVER, either the poopy eye-ball alignment and/or the crazy angle knuckles make this thing SUPER sketchy going down the road. im hoping/voting it the alignment. i have a set of OEM knuckles here as a backup, but i'd like to make use of the $600 worth of knuckles/new lca's.

it does lay nice twin black marks tho and launches REALLY smooth/crisp.

nice, i'm glad to hear all the little things are being worked out. i get back on wednesday so i'll get ahold of you thursday about your eyeball alignment. outside the shop should be definetly fine anytime as long as we do it in front of the side housing the chevelles, so the trucks can still get in and out. so it shouldnt be a problem at all

Alignment certainly goes a long way. I'm sure a proper laser alignment will help settle the car.

The modified knuckles change the ackerman angle. Depending on how your front suspension geometry is, the effects will vary.

If you want to keep the knuckles and street drive the car, you may benefit from raising it back up. I'm not sure how streetable that PBM knuckle setup is.

You'll have to play with it, to get it to where you want it.

Personally if the steering response is good and I can get used to it, I'd keep it. If the car is twitchy at high speeds. I'd ditch it. I also think a car is ruined if it's got even the slightest play in the steering, or an odd vibration. That makes or breaks a car for me.

the plan WAS to be driving her this week. due to a payroll discrepancy/oversight at work, im broke as a joke til next friday.

then alignment locally, then drive it to rt tuning in philly for a race alignment/corner weighting.

also, i am gonna have to raise the front and rear 1/2" so the front clears the massaged fender area under compression, and so the rear matches the front. i have a local hookup for an alignment on a regular rack so i can get it at least toe'd properly, aka drivable. its SKETCHY going 25mph... so i gotta eyeball the toe to be 0 all around, then limp it to the local guys.

there will be updates asap, i promise.

Why corner balance it if you're planning on slamming it?

on THIS wheel/tire setup, i cannot slam

and this car was built to handle, not just for looks.

IDK man, it sure looks badass, but I'm not sure if it's too much black. Lemme get a glimpse of it in person w/ the bronze wheel first. It's your car though, try not to paint em because they already have a nice durable perfect finish, paint isn't as nice and durable 'sall i'm sayin.

Out of all the Lancaster boys who'd finish their cars I had my money on you actually getting this thing on the road.

Keegan, it's been too long buddy. Let me know what you're doing friday. My last full day in lanc before the school year. I hope you've scrounged up the funds to complete an alignment.

There's not much left to do though except the front bumper.

Gooooo man we need autoX action. September SCCA autoX. Honestly I want you to participate. I would be a sad panda if not.

Here's an update for you fellas. Friday Keegan will be taking his girlfriend down to IUP (4 hours away from here) for college. He's been trying to spend as much time with her as possible, which I don't blame him. He hasn't had time to get it eye-balled at Jeff's, and hasn't had the funds to get it properly aligned yet. Hopefully next week...

I thought this thing was supposed to be driving on the road like 2 weeks ago. Now I'm at school and won't be able to do a beach run. Bummer.

I love mge's car, it takes time and unfortunately other things get in the way that are ahead on the priority list. Anyway I thought I'd let you know that your car is my inspiration for getting a coupe (at least the exterior lol) i plan to do something similar.

Almost the end of summer and two white coupes aren't able to get a good shoot going...

I just hope you finish before I put my car away for the winter!

Haha, white is out the window. He's doing quite the opposite. It'll be done before winter, BRAH.
