Mrgreeneyes, since you're getting rid of your SOHC for an SR, you should sell me the distributor and MAF. Like, NOW.

Gotta love aero. I wonder how long will it be before I see zip ties holding cracks together on the front bumper from our messed up roads and city lots.

Sweet bro; update.

We burned out the bushings in the new subframe last night. It was fun because Keegan found lighter fluid. The whole rear suspension has been dropped. There's a good chance more will get done tomorrow as it's Keegan's day off.

Why is everyone except mrgreeneyes updating his build thread?

Looking at the rear sub frame pics, I'm so glad I'm done with that stage of the build.

What a f'n pain.

Man I've lost track of time, has your car been down since the black ice incident? I don't feel like reading through the whole thread again to find out haha.

Yeah, the car has been down the whole time. Messed up the whole driver's side front of the suspension. Instead of just replacing the stuff, MGE upgraded everything.

Yeah I remember him saying something about while he was fixing stuff, he might as well upgrade haha.

Anyways, it's looking good. Can't wait to see it all one color and on the ground.

I can tell you right now that they're AMAZING. They're not for the weak of heart. I just recently purchased them and I've ridden in Keegan's car. I would recommend them only if you have, uh, what are those things, balls? Yeah.

i love how they feel, i dont consider myself to be hardcore or anything but the ride feels easily acceptable on the street.

The ride is acceptable yes, but when taking on pot holes or large "ruts" be prepared for your foot to possibly jostle the throttle lol. You may find yourself waiting a bit for the smoother sections of road to shift on especially if you know the roads like I do.It's all in fun though, just gives the car more character!

Hey man you left the extra RUCA nut and washer at my place when you left last time, I'll bring it w/ me.Bah nvmd, edit bc that car cover is on the s5 vert. I thought it ran now qq.Good update, but you could have used my rustoleum orange lol...

Looks great dudes. I'm excite to hear your exhaust. No pre muffler resonator FTW. The SR is going to sound soooooo goooooood.

Nice front bumper. +1 urethane wins, now you can go as low as you want.

i respect that, battles are tough;and you can always try a slimmer tire later.
