Wow dude, the car is GREAT! Tho not to fond of the coupe rear, but the pure sexiness of the car makes up for that! Yum!

Page 7 FTW!

i cant say i totally dig the coupe rear... but im concocting some ideas to make it better... along the lines of rear valences, and either oem se wing or a wangan style....

yeah. my seat is tiny. i barely fit with 165lbs/32 waist. my seat is the normal one... so if youre anything bigger than my size, get the biggest seat you can, otherwise you may not be able to transport all the passengers you could potentially have.

yea i got the same size of waist. i figured i would get the normal one for the drivers side and the large one for the passenger side. since i will be the only one driving the car.

for ride height, put your wheels w/ tires on the car, all aero, etc so you can get a feel for the overall look and have points to measure from. this part is pretty much guess-and-check kinda stuff... adjust the collars lower until you get the right height for front and rear. if you want to be really low, remove the two locking collars and butt the spring perch right up against the lower strut mount (as i have). rumor has it that you can flip the strut mount upside-down for more clearance. i am about to test this rumor in the next few days. if so, you will be able to go stupid low.

preload: you shouldnt really need any. it refers to how much tension you load on the spring via the lower spring perch ring. general rule of thumb (so im told) is to tighten the collar against the spring as much as you can with bare hands, then tighten an additional 2-3 turns with the spanner wrenches. then lock a locking collar up against the spring perch to hold it in place. to do this "locking" properly, you must put one spanner wrench on the spring perch collar and the other wrench on the locking collar and tighten them against eachother, you cannot just snug the locking collar up against, you HAVE to tighten the two against eachother.

RUCAS: go to the PBM thread on zilvia and read about how to properly set them up. there was a post about someone breaking their rucas and PBM goes thru with pics and tells you the proper way to set them up. read it like a bible.

any more questions, you know which thread to ask em in (this one )

well i got the back set about perfectly how i want it as far as ride height. the front needs to be about and inch lower. maybe just a little less. and i only have about 1/8 inch between the two collars. i bet if i do what you said take them out and tighten the perch against the bottem part it would be perfect.

i will go through and read about the camber. cause we check my wheels with a level to kinda guess camber until we can get an alignment. but i need to adjust one side out.

the cool thing is my car has an aggressive stance but plenty of clearance and still. i will have about 5 inches of clearance under the frame rails. give or take depending how close you are to the front or back of the car.

hey man one more thing. the rucas are suppose to curve up to the nuckle right. mine are threaded in all the way. so it seems like they are longer then yours maybe. cause i can only get like 1 or 2 full twist again. then they will be al lthe way in. we have set a level on them and ont has to much camber and need to come out some. but they dont seem to have much. I just need to get it close so i can take it in for an alignment.

Cops, detectives, private investigators, repo people....just a few people that can look up plates. And when you take into thought that those people may have a few friends that need something looked up.....there ya go.

the metal spheres at the top of your coilover, in the triangular plate. they pivot, allowing the coilover to rotate with your wheel/knuckle. use penetrating oil
