I'm referring the the flat piece that is welded on to your custom wheel well.

Specifically, how did you make the curved part? Did you make a template with paper and then traced it onto the metal?

I placed a piece of construction paper on the rail and then got under the tub and traced the lip then cut it out and transfered to metal and cut that with a cutoff wheel and rounded it to the line with a grinder.
