Exactly. So if I go with new wheels/tires...then lowering it (might as well get coilovers at this point) is a must.FolkertSX wrote:^yea new wheels are a must. but what are you going to get. the cars not lowered much and imo aftermarket wheels cant be pulled off unless its slammed. probably anything under 17's would look good though.
As of right I am actually spraying some black trim paint on those air dam vents, that oxidized gray was kind of an eye sore.ca18detgabby wrote: PS some black paint on those lower air dam vents would really set it off. oxidized gray grills make the front end look a little off ith the fresh paint.
First of all, great job on the carS13_love wrote:All done!!!
Spent the beginning part of the week re-assembling the car and last night, I went ahead and buffed and polished the whole thing.
After 2 1/2 months of working double shifts (worked from 7-4...then worked on the car from 4:30 to 10 usually, sometimes 11 or 12, even stayed as late as 1 to 2 o'clock in the morning), sacrificing my entire social life, and practially destroying my health/diet...In the end, it ended up being worth it surprisingly.
I longer have to worry about the rust that was once present on the body. After I buy some old beater truck to drive during the winter (there is absolutley no way in hell Im gonna drive this during the winter...too many stupid drivers, Im not taking any chances), I will start saving up for the next phase of this project.
(Im actually still not sure why it appears so yellow in these pics I've taken )
Now, I finally get to enjoy the rest of my summer...all 1 1/2 weeks before semester starts....oh yeah!
Good point.rsagen wrote:
Second If you take your car out of the flouresent lighting in your garage you shouldnt have any color/ camera problems.

Also, my bank account was basically wiped out. So by mid-october, I'll start saving money for the next phase of this project.
