All done!!!

Spent the beginning part of the week re-assembling the car and last night, I went ahead and buffed and polished the whole thing.

After 2 1/2 months of working double shifts (worked from 7-4...then worked on the car from 4:30 to 10 usually, sometimes 11 or 12, even stayed as late as 1 to 2 o'clock in the morning), sacrificing my entire social life, and practially destroying my health/diet...In the end, it ended up being worth it surprisingly.

I longer have to worry about the rust that was once present on the body. After I buy some old beater truck to drive during the winter (there is absolutley no way in hell Im gonna drive this during the winter...too many stupid drivers, Im not taking any chances), I will start saving up for the next phase of this project.

(Im actually still not sure why it appears so yellow in these pics I've taken )

Now, I finally get to enjoy the rest of my summer...all 1 1/2 weeks before semester starts....oh yeah!

Thanks man!

But yeah...unfortunantely this car was victim to having color swaps done incorrectly, but not anymore lol

I also noticed that a couple of people that posted here were wondering what products i used, such as primer and body filler. I will make a post w/pics showing of all the stuff that was used on this by sometime next week.

wow that looks like a amazing paint job. that is the last color i would have picked though. from day one i puked everytime i looked at your yellow car. and i couldnt wait to see a different color. but hey w.e its your car. i wish i had a booth like that to paint my car. painting in a garage sucks. do you have further plans? or just leave it stock and clean as it is

Something about that color makes me like it. Bright usually doesn't do it for me, but i like it. Excellent looking car man, props.

Bwahahaha...thanks guys

Yes, I do in fact have future plans for this...new wheels/tires is something that I would like to see (possible 5 lug conversion?) out of everything, I hate those wheels that are on there now.

Coilovers, bigger brakes etc., and new rotors possibly? (<-- I actually need new ones, i don't think mine can be resurfaced )

But on the other hand, this whole 100 hp to the wheels bulls**t is killing me. Some type of motor work would be nice.

Sooooo, I have quite a few options to choose from right now. I just gotta see how the money situation turns out later this year.

While saving up, I am gonna try to accomplish some interior work (possibly as soon as next month?)...such as relocating the cd player back to where it's suppose to be, get new and relocate gauges, repair dash, spray entire interior w/ black, stuff like that.

But anyways, I thought of choosing a different color, but then I decided to stick close to the one that was on there before because...well, I have yet to see anyone have this color on their car, let alone anything close to it.

^yea new wheels are a must. but what are you going to get. the cars not lowered much and imo aftermarket wheels cant be pulled off unless its slammed. probably anything under 17's would look good though.

Exactly. So if I go with new wheels/tires...then lowering it (might as well get coilovers at this point) is a must.

...Anyways, the car would look soooooo much better with different wheels, hell, even the manager at the shop I work at even suggested I should get new wheels lol.

Edit: Im definitely open to suggestions from anybody as to what I should get btw.

Nice resto!

Maybe Uras NS-01 if you can find them. Work CR-KAIs or XD-9s.

Can't go wrong with those IMO

is this a show car?

if you are taking it to be tracked some meshies or rewinds are a good choice

if it is a showy car........... work VS-XX are so sex.

PS some black paint on those lower air dam vents would really set it off. oxidized gray grills make the front end look a little off ith the fresh paint.

As of right I am actually spraying some black trim paint on those air dam vents, that oxidized gray was kind of an eye sore.

Also today I ordered some Tein Inner and Outer Tie rods and some dust boots...now i gotta order some new tires for the front (part of the driver side front tire is worn down to the steel belt ). Im not gonna lie, it's actually scary to drive on the freeway with the tie rods I have now...when I go around a shallow right curve, there will be this death wobble goin on lol...not good.

First of all, great job on the car

Second If you take your car out of the flouresent lighting in your garage you shouldnt have any color/ camera problems.

Any updates?

Good point.

None at the moment...Im still wating on my tie rods and tires etc. , i got them ordered, hopefully I'll get them by next week.

Then after that, I have no idea when the next update will be. It could be possibly months because...

Right now, im just trying to get money. My class schedule didn't turn out so well this semester, it got all f***ed up, meaning my classes are spread out through the day (go to campus at 8 and leave by 6:30 )....Im only able to work 13 hours a week. So I am really considering trying to find a weekend job...ugh.

Ok, well, I still gotta do little update about the products I have used on this...I have been waaayyy too busy lately and I just keep forgetting.

Last week, I finally got my tein tie rods and tie rod ends (so far so good ) and new tires on. Im glad I got that out of the way.

I also found another car (it's actually a suburban) to drive during the winter so im all set on that...Im guessing that I have about a month left of driving this until I garage it until March.

Also, my bank account was basically wiped out. So by mid-october, I'll start saving money for the next phase of this project.
