I discovered on Monday that the passenger side low beam headlight had gone out. Replacing a bulb is typically no big deal ... then I found out that Xenon bulbs are special ($100) and that the G35c implementation is even more special, with the "official" replacement procedure involving the removal of the grill and bumper. I decided to buy the bulb but put off the replacement till the weekend. Driving home last night I realized that the situation had gotten worse. Now I've lost both low beams plus the high beam on the passenger side.

At this point I'm not convinced that the bulb is the problem. I'm thinking that this progressive failure is a clue to the real problem. Has anyone else seen this before? Any suggestions as to how I should proceed.

Thanks,Jim

Time out ... the progressive failure was temporary. I just tried everything again and the only burned out light is the original passenger side low beam. Replacing that bulb should put me on the road again.

So ... never mind.
