Programming phone numbers

Does anyone know how to program a pause in the phone number string? I see the * and # symbols, but they don't seem to do anything. Thanks - Kevin 2007 M35

I just spent a good half hour in an M and a 07 G Sedan.

I could not find a space option or pause...

The "+" sign gave me hope, but it only dialed 011 for international calling...

The only thing I could think of that might work, would be to program the number into your phone and import the phone book...

Unfortunatley my Blackberry can't export, but the Bluetooth works - go figure. You'd think that if they put symbols in the choices for digits in the keypad they'd tell you what they're for!
