Programming key fob issues

Hi,

So I have read through all the other posts and still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have a 2001 qx4 built 06/00 so I bought a couple model "A" keyfobs off eBay. When I go to program them I get to the step where the hazard lights flash after I insert the key into the ignition 6 times but when I insert the key again and switch to ACC and press a button on the keyfob I don't get the lights flashing. Ive tried a million time and now some how managed to get one fob to be able to unlock the doors but not lock, and the other fob still does nothing.

Any suggestion? Did I get the wrong model fob?

Are your keyfobs "Model / A" with FCC ID KBRASTU10? Do both fobs have fresh CR2025 batteries?

Hi,

I havent tried new batteries, mostly because the unlock feature works on one of the fobs. Maybe I should try a new battery and see if that will help.
